Film Racing

Film Racing is dedicated to inspiring and challenging creative minds.  We strive to provide exciting and rewarding competitions for the filmmakers and to provide them with the prizes and exposure necessary to take the next big step in the industry.

Film Racing works to get as much exposure for the filmmakers and their films as possible.  Since 2007, Film Racing has given out over $180,000 in cash and prizes to the winning filmmakers to aid them in their future projects.  In addition to the prizes, teams vie for dozens of awards in each city in categories including Direction, Acting, Writing, Cinematography, Editing, Original Music Score, Sound Design, Costume Design, Visual FX, Special FX and many more.

From 2008-2010 I was the producer of the Film Race in Minneapolis (first two years with Sergio Rapu).

The film below, Blowing Bubbles, was directed for the Minneapolis Film Race by Vaughn Juares and won the top prize at the national competition. It was also accepted into the prestigious Gen Art Film Festival
