Minneapolis/St. Paul International Film Festival

For the last three years I’ve been a sponsor of the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Film Festival. Most of the work I’ve done with them is helping out with promotions and you can see some of the videos I’ve created below. One of the great things about the festival, other than the 200+ movies they seem to show every year, is all the filmmakers/artists they bring in to visit the festival. Over the years I’ve been able to meet a number of illustrious individuals, including James Toback, Daryl Wein, Zoe Lister-Jones, and Duncan Jones to name a few. The most esteemed individual I got the chance to meet was Gunnar Sønsteby (pictured right). Gunnar was a member of the Norwegian resistance movement during the German occupation of Norway in World War II. He’s also the highest decorated person in Norway. He was there supporting the film Max Manus, which highlights the exploits of the movement he helped to start.
