Vegucated
This last Monday I hosted the Minnesota premiere of Vegucated, a documentary film about three meat and cheese loving New Yorkers who adopt a vegan diet for six weeks. The filmmaker, Marisa Miller Wolfson, has organized roughly 70 grassroots workshops and independent film screenings across North America on eco-friendly issues, and is making her directorial debut with this film that premiered at the Toronto Independent Film Festival.
A lot of filmmakers dream of making important films. The type that will change people’s lives. This is that kind of film. It’s been working on my hardcore since I watched it over a week ago, and is making me question a lot of the decisions I have to make moving forward. Definitely a film everyone should see if they get the opportunity.
